I don't know either person, but I have to say that if a mistake was made the committee is doing very nice in allowing both girls reign. A mistake was made, which happens in life, how you decide to act shows what type of character you have. I know that Molly must be very upset, but instead of making this a bad thing, turn it into something great! Who knows, maybe you and the other young lady may become life long friends!

I agree that the count should have been accurate BEFORE anyone was notified of the results, especially when dealing with young people.....feelings get hurt

Really?? Because both are more or less children I would have said share the crown but imagine how the other girl feels that was the rightful winner and received no attention for that? I say give it up and welcome to the real world. Had this happened in a bigger Pageant you would have to forfeit the crown. To want to completely take recognition from the true winner regardless that it was due to human error is just wrong.

I'm glad Molly is keeping her crown. I do not personally know her but it is quite suspicious that they realized it was a miscounted after and I think it's every bit okay for her to keep it because it was announced and she was crowned.

Way to go for standing up for your rights. Don't let anyone take those from you.
