We will purchase goods or services, support future tourism, and upcoming events of selected businesses who opposes Virginia Beach refusal to seek permission from the Virginia General Assembly to remove it's 27-foot Confederate Monument from the Old Princess Anne County Courthouse.

These Confederate Monuments are symbols of hate speech, bias, lynching by extrajudicial mob action, racial prejudice, treason, murder, political rebellion, institutional and subliminal racism. Slave auctions took place at this location in front of the Old Princess Anne Courthouse, the city's endorsement of Confederacy, and its refusal to remove the Confederate Monument, shows a lack of respect for diversity and the racial violence committed against Africans, African Americans, Native Americans, Latin Americans, Asian Americans, Jewish Americans, Chinese immigrants, Mexican immigrants, dark-skinned Sicilian Americans and a total disregard of the U.S. Constitution.

The City’s Confederate statue is an invalid expression of governmental racial hate speech which offends the First Amendment Establishment clause, that prohibits the government from endorsing or supporting Confederate nationalism above the United States and respecting its religious doctrine that white people are superior to those of all other races.

The First Amendment mandates governmental neutrality, the City Council has a sworn legal duty to reject recognizing, endorsing, supporting, promoting, honoring, maintaining and preserving the Confederacy, its symbols and the rebellious war effort to overthrow America, taken down by the United States.

The Petition totals to be seen online by The City of Virginia Beach, Virginia, The Historic Preservation Commission of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Amazon.com

We the People of the United States, cannot continue to glorify a war against America fought in the defense of white supremacy, succession, bigotry, political rebellion, slavery, racial segregation, discrimination, rape, murder, and treason.

These Confederate Monuments, flags, and images of subliminal and institutional racism have no place in our government and it’s time to put these symbols of hate speech behind us and move toward healing and a better United States of America!
