I oppose the decision by TDOT to close the I35 exits to Belton.

Please don’t do this. I know there are some smart people at Txdot who can figure out a better plan. We love Belton!

This would absolutely destroy businesses, unacceptable solution.

Say no to TxDot, they must find an alternative plan for Belton’s I35 exits and leave them.

Having the only exit a mile or more from the current exit does not seem reasonable at all. Retaining 2, if not all 3, exits should be done. I would like to know more about the Braided On/Off ramps. Where is that schematic? Belton is the county seat and access to downtown should NOT be hard. Respectfully, Carole Cortinez

This is going to be a hot mess. I disagree with the whole thing of cutting off three exits into Belton.

The City of Belton needs these exits. Businesses will suffer. Roads will be altered making it harder to get around in some neighborhoods leading to longer response time of First Responders.

We need good exits to Belton’s downtown.

No exits at Central Avenue at IH 35 will kill restaurants and other businesses! Construction yes but make ways to preserve business.

I ask that you strongly reconsider exits to downtown Belton. I’ve owned a successful Day Spa in downtown Belton for 15 years now. We have a large clientele that comes from all over the central Texas and Hill country region. From Waco to Austin, our clientele choose to make the commute to Belton. But people want convenience right now accessing our location is easy and accessible. But without the ease of accessing downtown, I fear we will lose a large amount of our clientele. I love my town and I love my state and I pray that the two can work together to help Belton continue to be successful.

Do not close exits for downtown Belton; it will kill this vibrant community.

I am a concerned resident of Belton, Texas and am respectfully asking TxDOT to reconsider the current plans and find a way to improve traffic flow on I-35 without punishing and devastating Belton, Texas.

There’s no point, plus you’ll kill downtown belton. You’d also be creating a traffic nightmare for

Please keep the Belton exits. They are needed for the downtown community to continue to thrive. The exits are also needed for emergency personnel to respond in a timely manner.
