The increase in support has captured the attention of several policy analysts specializing in housing legislation. I am currently coordinating a series of briefings to present our proposal directly to the committee members responsible for these code revisions.

It's not right that we as seniors who have worked hard and contributed have such a hard time getting by on social security. Many seniors have no place to go and many are veterans who are living on the street now.

Thank you Robert for your many months of hard work on The American Seniors Act, and your love and compassion for seniors and homeless seniors. I live in a Mobilehome Park and many of our seniors are barely making ends meet on their social security pension. May God bless this legislation and may it flourish and please God.. blessings...

I am 69 years old and can relate to those poor souls who live on the streets. However, I am more fortunate because I receive SS and some retirement benefits. My health is good and I try to stay employed as well, to financially survive. I hope I can help in this matter. JoAnn A. Finney

Without my daughter my husband and I would be homeless. My mother will be homeless in six months because she has spent her savings paying rent. We don't have room for her and can't have her fur baby at this apartment.

Families used to care for their senior members just a generation ago. Our culture today marginalizes them to the curb, literally. I am a senior who struggles to survive too. This law will provide the boost so many need to obtain basic housing. "Come on People now, smile on your brother. "

If a senior receives and extra $18.00 they lose $150.00 or more. Their income has no cost of living increase but lots of decreases. We must protect their right to affordable safe housing.

We can't keep trashing the people who built this country. The seniors today are American's Greatest Generation and the first Baby Boomers... they fought for our country. We can't keep treating them like a disposable diaper. They are the heart of society. Lets treat them like the gold they are.
