On March 26, 2009, Elder Financial Protection Network (EFPN) hosted the 5th Annual Call to Action event, launching a national campaign to pass the Elder Justice Act. On May 12, 2009 in conjunction with the release of Older Women's Leagues' (OWL) Mother’s Day Report on the impact of elder abuse in America, EFPN launched this online petition.  To date, nearly 3000 persons across the United States and beyond have raised their voices to Congress by signing this petition.  Thank you for supporting this effort.

On Sunday, March 22, 2010 Congress passed The Elder Justice Act. Our thanks to the 2,847 persons who raised their voices and signed our iPetition to demand protection for elder Americans. For more information see The Elder Justice Coalition.

This is important. The abuser of Linda Sisco is still out there and she is still preying on other elders. She must be stopped

Hope this goes through. Seniors deserve peace and safety not worrying about getting robbed by people they trust.

Too many cases go unreported. We need better laws for our grandparents.

Seen way too many seniors lose everything because nobody is protecting them. Its about time congress actually did something useful.

My mom was taken advantage of by a neighbor last year and the police said there was nothing they could do. This needs to change now.
