We Represent the Public Housing residents of 3200 PHA’s over 22 cities, convened in a Resident Caucus at a NAR-SAAH Conference held in Orlando Florida, September 21-24 2011, in Orlando Florida. As Resident Leaders of Public and HUD assisted Housing we represent the voices of more than 3200 resident organizations, nationwide. In the resident caucus it was moved and resolved to take action to stand up and demand That The US SENATE and US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Provide full funding for PUBLIC AND ASSISTED HOUSING operating, capital budgets and Resident Support Services in the Transportation Housing Urban Development appropriations bill for FY2012.

It is sad that it even has to come to this. These buildings are falling apart and nobody wants to pay up to fix them.
FIX THE BUDGET. stop taking it out on the seniors and the kids who dont have anywhere else to go.
Every single family deserves a roof over their head. Dont let these people go homeless.
Veterans deserve better than this. Stop playing games with people who actually fought for this country.

My mom is in assisted living and they are struggling so much already. How are they supposed to keep the building safe if you cut the money? Just ridiculous.
It is sad that it even has to come to this. These buildings are falling apart and nobody wants to pay up to fix them.
