THEY FINALLY LISTENED AND MOVED THE GAME TO A LOCATION WE CAN ACTUALLY REACH!! I AM ABSOLUTELY THRILLED THAT WE ALL WORKED TOGETHER TO ENSURE OUR SUPPORTERS CAN WITNESS THIS HISTORIC FIRST MATCH!! KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE TEAM AND GET READY TO CHEER THEM ON LOUDLY!!
On behalf of the Usector, Red Patch Boys and all Supporters of Toronto FC, We the undersigned are requesting that the club and Major League Soccer explore all possible avenues to re-schedule the inaugural Toronto FC match, currently scheduled for April 7, 2007 at the Home Depot Center in Carson California.
Being part of the inaugural Toronto FC match is something that is very important to the supporters of the club as we see it as a once in a lifetime opportunity. With the location of this match being the furthest possible away game location in the league, we are being denied the opportunity to attend this very important event. We are requesting that the league re-schedule the inaugural Toronto FC match to one of the 3 cities (Chicago, Columbus, New York City) that are realistic travel options for the fans, so that we can be a part of our teams first ever game.
Sincerely,
The Toronto FC Fans
This is ridiculous. First game ever and they stick us in California? No way we can make that trip. Move it closer so the real fans can actually go.

Was really looking forward to this event but the travel is impossible. Not fair to the supporters.

PLEASE re-schedule this. it is our teams first game ever and the fans deserve to be there in person. home depot center is just way too far for most of us.

Absolute joke that they didnt think about the supporters when setting this schedule. common sense needs to prevail here.
