The superintendent needs to be fired and Mr.Watkins reinstated with overwhelming apologies from the school board before Our school district is hit with a lawsuit that will bankrupt it.

I fully stand by and with Mr. James Watkins. The alleged hearing was a farce that resulted in an unfair result. Due to these factors I whole-heartedly agree that Superintendent Leonard step down and resign her post. She is clearly not able to handle her duties. God bless Mr. Watkins and may justice prevail. At least for the sake of future students that will miss out.

Mr. Watkins has had such a substantial impact on my life. He guided me through my four years at Emge and Jimmy Watkins made me appreciate history and he being my teacher, although just for one year, has led me to eventually pursuing a career in history education. Mr. Watkins also helped me earn the rank of Eagle Scout and he is without a doubt THE best teacher I have ever had in my life all throughout Grade School and Belleville West High School. James Watkins is the kind of man every kid wants as a teacher and that every person wants as a friend. St. Clair County is corrupt. The Superintendent Pam Leonard is corrupt and the school board, 2 of which were appointed by her and not elected, is corrupt. It's honestly sad to see this once wonderful school district going down the drain. Pam Leonard needs to go before she does this district any more harm than she's already caused.

Mr. Watkins was a phenomenal coach who taught us how to word hard, never quit and believe in ourselves. We need more positive role models like him in our schools!

Mr. Watkins, was one of the best teachers my sons had in the 175 district. I know many more people feel that way too! Him and another great teacher from there even came to visit my youngest son in the hospital after an accident he had, 4 years after graduating from Emge! Mr. Watkin's dedication to his students go far beyond grade school.
