This is nothing more than a witch hunt! I'm so glad that my son has been out of Emge for years! I just wish the school board would stop looking at financials and start looking at the impact this is having on students like my nephew! What a disgrace for a school district we used to be proud to be part of!

Jim was a great teacher and basketball coach for me during my time at Emge as a student. He has done way too much for this school to be treated this way.

I think it's extremely ridiculous that he never got a chance to voice his side... it was all quick let's jump and fire him.

This individual has done a great disservice to all children in district 175 and ruined the career of the best teacher and coach Emge has ever had!

This district has been going down hill for years. The fact that they would terminate such a highly respected and qualified teacher based off of a second hand complaint is ridiculous. I think this is the first step to a long road ahead for making this school district what it used to be. Next up, the appointed board members.

Transportation costs have gone up, buses may visit a house 3 times for student pick up (Ellis, Harmony, Emge), grades have been dropping, good teachers have been moved around until they quit....and soon we will be allowing a private company to come in and take away our public classrooms (Sequel).....all under Pam Leonard.

She paid absolutely no attention to anyone during the public/employee comments. Which is not appropriate at all!

I have known Mr Watkins for a very long time and I believe that he is getting a raw deal. 30 yrs and many lifes he has touched, and like that its all taken away. Not Fair

It's time to throw all of them out and start fresh! The district would save whole lot more on Pam's salary than on Watkins and I don't think nearly as many people would notice her absence or care.

Mr. Watkins was my oldests coach in the early 90's. A fine upstanding man IMO. This school board has been divisive and self oriented for as long as I can remember. I lived in the district in the 80's and 90's. It is time for not only the principal, but the board to be ousted and replaced with moral, community oriented people.
