Notwithstanding any inculpatory or exculpatory evidence related to any allegations in this matter, when a superintendent displays a conscious disregard for due process and refuses to offer any transparency when faced with substantial public outcry, that person should no longer be a superintendent.

Unbelievable! ! Where are the facts and witnesses? Where is the evidence? What is being hidden?
And after 30 years of Teaching and Coaching, he decides out of the blue, to harass this one Teacher? Seems very suspicious!! The truth will come out! It always does!

Certainly a shame having such a poor performing district, a district that needs the most help, have such terrible higher-ups. A schooling system maneuvers in a "trickle down" fashion. The less responsible and intelligent the pricipals, the superintendents, board members, etc. - The more non-accomplished students are produced. With cutting valuable music program funding, letting go teachers that made learning enjoyable for the students, and number less scandals, Emge Jr. high has become an absolute comedy show in academics. Congratulations, folks. Proud to be an alumn.

You had no right firing mr Watkins everyone loved him. He brightened everyone's days. We don't need someone like her filing false acuaculassions and accusing and firing a 30 year veteran who was nothing but a sweet an generous guy who gave his all for us kids. You deserve determination for false reasoning and for flack of evidence

Regardless what was or wasn't done I still think Jim is a pretty swell guy. My kids were lucky enough to have been taught by him.

Shame on District 175. They are an embarrassment to our community. 100% support for Mr. James Watkins. I am a taxpayer in this district and also a former student.

It seems as if no one knows the FACTS that have led to the termination of a educator appreciated by many... i can personally remember him going to all the queen of peace parents asking to vote yes on the vote for the new gym.... he held good to that promise as he made that the gym would be a home for us when needed...i hope Jim gets a chance to get justice in what seems like a unfair political and financial decision.
