Absolutely. .. The School Board President said before the adjournment to the closed session that he did not have all the facts then the went into closed session. For the benefit of the school and community because of a He said, She said; I feel the decision to dismiss Watkins was in haste.

Mr. Watkins was an incredibly inspirational teacher during my time at Emge. Not sure of the whole story, but I find it shocking to believe that a school board would fire a longtime teacher without all the facts at hand.

Terrible handling of the accusations directed toward Mr.Watkins. Due process is a right of every citizen, and especially given the reputation of the accused, should not have been overlooked. Good luck with the future lawsuit, Jim, at taxpayers' expense. I think it's been obvious how the taxpayers and their children feel about this fine educator.

Ever since Superintendent Pam Leonard our school district has lost more money up rooting students to change schools and rearranging things has cost more money. Putting Sequel into an elementary school just pissed me off too. Our district don't have money to support this. This is one reason I'm moving out of this district. The sad thing is my family has all been in this district for over 60years. My own mother went to school in this district it's always been top notch now it's going to he'll in a hand basket with her as Superintendent. I say START A NEW PETITION TO GET RID OF THE SUPERINTENDENT PAM LEONARD ASAP!!!!!

The process of this termination was unfair and unjust. Mr. Watkins was one of my favorite teachers! He truly impacted my life as a teacher, coach, and mentor. I hope he is given fair and equal consideration!
