Great friend for a long time and even a better person and teacher. I think all the students and former students speaking out in his favor says it all!!! Good Luck Jimbo!!

Mr. Watkins is with out a doubt one of, if not my favorite teacher I have had. He not only cares about the students he's teaching/coaching , but made sure to be a good mentor as well.. You can't just simply replace those 30 years of experience and those qualities in a teacher. Terminating someone like this and losing such a big asset would be a huge mistake on the districts part. If the district does not recognize this now, it's not just their loss, it's all current, and future students/co-workers this awesome man will encounter...

Mr. Watkins was one of my favorite teachers at emge! He was always such a great man who was an excellent mentor! I am very ashamed and upset of what I am reading considering I now have kids at district 175. Shame on District 175.. he has been the for many of years and has touched many of life's just by his teaching and coaching #TeamMr.Watkins
