We the people of Oceanport, Nj petition Mayor Michael Mahon and the Borough Council to terminate John O. Bennett III from all employment within our borough.
I have been hearing from so many of you who feel the same weight regarding the direction of our local leadership. Please know I am working behind the scenes to ensure these concerns reach the mayor and council directly.

Seeing this level of backing from our neighbors proves that the community is finally ready to demand accountability. This momentum feels like a turning point for Oceanport and I am genuinely moved by the turnout.

Mr. Bennett's behavior at the Council Meeting on 08/06/15 was insubordinate and rude, to a Councilman and to the people of Oceanport, who pay his salary. It's time for him to move on. And with discord between Mayor and Council, the taxpayers' voices are needed.

We have gotten enough bad publicity in this town without unprofessional behavior and double dipping.

Unprofessional. Grade school behavior. Also considered an obscene gesture in our society.

Enough is enough. The arrogance shown at that meeting was just the straw that broke the camels back for me.

Fully agree, we can't afford the bad publicity, the loss of so many staff, the rudeness. .......we can't afford and don't want John Bennett
