Tenterden needs a skate park, our only spot that was out of the way and half substantial is being destroyed. More skaters have appeared in the past few years around this area than in Ashford, our "local" skate park. Plans were even once upon a time drawn up and funding was even found but some how the council never continued the project and the park was never built.

There are bmx riders swarming around the half pipe on a nice day, and as much as we hate to say it even scooters. The half pipe is no where near big enough for its demand nor is it enough to cater to everyones desired styles.

We just want a park even if its small with some ledges, rails, banks, ramps and if we can get it even a stair set. A properly designed park doesn't take up much space and also despite what some may think it is not an eye sore.
