I am very disappointed with the decision to replace security personnel with greeters – the security of the building should be the priority & the reality is that a team of 6 security guards should not be reduced to 2. In all honesty, the people I have spoken to (myself included) find the greeters annoying & overkill. The security team has always been friendly & helpful without having the lobby feel like you’re walking through the fragrance section of a department store.

While I am sure that there are good business reasons to rotate security personnel, it seems to me that the decision-makers did not take fully into account the impact on customer service of the removal of these beloved employees who guard our building. Particularly in a hectic city like New York, it is comforting to see friends like Julio Rios in the morning greeting us. Would you please reconsider?

You do not throw away those that have dedicated their life to a company.

This decision In my opinion is compromising the security and safety of our fellow co workers and tourists & not a proactive approach. Please Reconsider!

It is always great having guards who know our employees & patients. The sign-in desk runs smoothly & these men direct everyone in the right direction. They are kind and respectful, as well as knowledgeable. Please reinstate them to our lobby.

Please reconsider this decision! It was always such a pleasure to be greeted by these very capable, very fine GENTLEMEN. Why would you ever replace and/or reassign them? It will never be the same (and I say that with all due respect to the new "receptionists" you have placed in their positions) and, again, we implore you to reconsider!

The system of greeting and providing security works very well. It is time tested since 9/11. These gentlemen are an integral part of this service.
If it "ain't" broke.. why fix it?

Please keep Julio, John and Ahmad at the lobby of 45 Rockefeller Plaza, It is a pleasant way to start the day with people who know us. They are so helpful to all of us, our patients and visitors and that has made our day to day life so much smoother.

Dear Management,
At a time when technology is increasingly replacing many of our daily human contacts, and work place is becoming fluid, Julio, John and Ahmed give us a daily sense of security.
Their unbreakable professionalism and personal attention is a reflection of their commitment to our success as well as their deep understanding of their job requirement. This feeling of safety they instill in us is the result of a complex and nuanced skill set that is only developed over years of observation and interaction with our environment. This is hard to measure, let alone replicate.
Your decision is something we may get used to over time but will certainly not make us happier, safer or more productive and thus may prove to be counter productive. You will loose the loyalty of your long term tenants and employees due to lack of alignment with you culture.
I hope you will reconsider this decision.

I have worked at 45 Rock for over 29 years; 21 of those has been with Julio Rios saying Good Morning with his usual smile and happy demeanor. Julio in particular has for all those years serviced Dr. Steven Syrop's patients especially our high profile patients with the upmost respect, courtesy and knowledge. He makes everyone feel safe and protected. Julio has a keen sense of the needs of the tenants, the visitors and the building itself and he shows great pride while doing it all!!!
Please keep the system that has worked for many years in place.

I do not support TIshman Speyer's decision to replace our security staff. They have been here for years and know this building inside and out. Who better to keep the building safe? The new staff's lack of knowledge is putting tenants at risk. Tishman needs to reinstate the new staff immediately.

These guards are needed for our safety - without them I would feel much less secure. Especially since our team is often working here late at night.

Why would Tishman get rid of 3 men who not only do their jobs very well but do it with a smile and are always so courteous? It would be a significant loss to our security and safety! Please reconsider as we all on our floor of dentist are very pleased with the security we have now.
