I have spent the last few days walking the halls and speaking with neighbors who are genuinely terrified about losing their homes. The silence from management is telling but I am spending every available hour documenting our collective history in this building to ensure they cannot ignore us.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels like a weight lifting off my chest because it shows that my neighbors are finally feeling just as frustrated as I am. This building is more than just a place to live, and it means the world to see everyone refuse to let our community be treated like an afterthought.

I have worked with this security staff for 11 years. They have been extremely helpful and curteous, whether during routine security procedures or flawless, quick & successful emergency response when someone is sick. I dont understand why this would happen.
I visited Dr. Horri last week. I was really impressed by the professionalism of security staff. They were courteous and respectful and reflected the culture of highest quality in the service industry They cleesy represented the value Rockefeller Center offers. It would be a shame to lose this staff.
I’m unsure why Tishman would think it is appropriate to have “greeters” instead of guards. The entire group of guards not only greet everyone, are kind and considerate and helped us feel safe. I truly hope this is just a test project and the powers that be reconsider their decision. 45 Rock will not be the same without them.
The lobby security crew has always been professional and trustworthy. They know the doctors on our floor and our patients. When an issue arises I have found them to act in the most professional and courteous manner. I have known some of the guards for over 20 years, Please reconsider this change.
The system of greeting and providing security works very well. It is time tested since 9/11. These gentlemen are an integral part of this service. If it "ain't" broke.. why fix it? Dr Cimmino
I am very disappointed with the decision to replace security personnel with greeters – the security of the building should be the priority & the reality is that a team of 6 security guards should not be reduced to 2. In all honesty, the people I have spoken to (myself included) find the greeters annoying & overkill. The security team has always been friendly & helpful without having the lobby feel like you’re walking through the fragrance section of a department store.
While I am sure that there are good business reasons to rotate security personnel, it seems to me that the decision-makers did not take fully into account the impact on customer service of the removal of these beloved employees who guard our building. Particularly in a hectic city like New York, it is comforting to see friends like Julio Rios in the morning greeting us. Would you please reconsider?

I do not support TIshman Speyer's decision to replace our security staff. They have been here for years and know this building inside and out. Who better to keep the building safe? The new staff's lack of knowledge is putting tenants at risk. Tishman needs to reinstate the new staff immediately.
