In signing this petition, you are letting the State of Texas know that its beekeepers and farmers are impacted by their current weed control system, and that Texas land owners, homesteaders, and farmers object to the lack of notification and/or remedy to their spraying practices.

TxDOT must find weed control methods that do not sacrifice bees in the process or we will become the collateral damage.
I have been following the Bee population affected by spraying and this is a very important cause. Brin Is highly educated on this matter and I back her on bringing this forward to protect the bees and the greater good for farmers and the health of Texas as a whole. The business of bee keeping needs to be protected as well as the well being of farmers and all Texans.
Bees are so important to botany, biology, and life on Earth. Please help preserve us all

To Whom It May Concern: We now know that one of the main ingredients in Roundup is a carcenagenic per the man who won over 200 million in a lawsuit. Yes we have genetically ingineared food (GMO’s) but do they cause cancer as well? Only time will tell. Killing our bees will indefinitely affect us on a scale that can not be undone. Only a matter of time before it becomes detrimental to the human race should we loose our bee populations! Think of your children and their children, your grandchildren and how they will be affected if this detriment continues. So much more that can be stated. Bees are vital to our ecosystem and environment and there has got to be an alternative to this! It's not worth loosing these wonderful insects simply because TXDOT wants to spray pesticides.
