This ban only promotes unsafe drinking in more unsafe environments like personal residences or large parties without it being in the public eye. This can be very unsafe for more vulnerable groups who go drinking. A bar with drink specials—in public— is more safe than a personal party where there may not be as many eyes watching. Also this will destroy Columbia landmarks such as the Penguin Bar as most of the their income comes from their unlimited drink special on Thursdays.

This violates the free market and should not be allowed to pass.

Agreed, as a home owner, the cost of living and utilities are way too high. I’m tired of a ton of large corporate businesses taking over.

Why are the downtown Rents SO Astronomical?!! I'm talking Commercial, as in $10,000 a month for the old Cycle Extreme spot!!! Soon the District will be half Blight. How good does a half empty downtown look to visitors, Greedy Scumlords?!!!

Not neccessary. I am not a business owner or a drinker, genedally, but I know that this change would be bad for business and bad for Columbia.

So wrong for small businesses in this town. If you want to kill the Columbia economy, ban alcohol.
