Telekom Malaysia has recently launch Unifi Lite package which cost RM149 per Month with the speed of 10 Mbps. Though this seems like a good news, the coverage for Unifi is rather limited and only benefited city dwellers. Most of Telekom Malaysia customer is still using Streamyx which is far more slower, outdated and expensive.
Current monthly commitment for Streamyx subscriber is RM120 for 2mbps, RM130 for 4mbps and RM180 for 8mbps. When compared with Unifi pricing, it clearly shows that Streamyx charge is way too everpriced. It is unfair for Streamyx users to pay higher price for a lower speed and outdated technology.
As one of TM customers, I'm calling all other Streamyx user to help by signing this petition so that together we could get a better better value for our money.

Baru-baru ini Telekom malaysia telah melancarkan pelan Unifi Lite dengan kelajuan 10mbps pada harga RM149 sebulan. Malangnya kawasan liputan Unifi adalah begitu terhad dan hanya memanfaatkan penduduk di bandar-bandar besar. Masih ramai pelanggan TM yang terpaksa bergantung kepada Streamyx yang lebih perlahan dan mahal.
Kadar bayaran terkini bagi pelanggan Streamyx adalah RM120 untuk 2mbps, RM130 untuk 4mbps and RM180 untuk 8mbps. Jika dibandingkan dengan harga Unifi, ia jelas menunjukkan caj Streamyx adalah terlalu mahal dan tidak sepadan dengan kelajuan yang ditawarkan. Adalah tidak adil kepada para pengguna Streamyx yang terpaksa membayar harga yang lebih mahal sedangkan kelajuan yang diterima adalah rendah.
Sebagai salah seorang pelanggan TM, saya menyeru para pengguna Streamyx untuk bersama-sama menandatangani petisyen ini dengan harapan supaya kita akan mendapat harga yang lebih berpatutan setanding dengan kelajuan yang kita terima.

Sangat bersetuju dengan petition ini. ini kerana saya pelanggan tm streamyx 8mbs membayar Rm140 berbanding pelanggan unufi lite 10mbps hanya Rm129 dan 30mbs Rm139. Sangat tidak masuk akal!
Diharap pihak TM Net revised harga Streamyx yang sedia ada agar lebih murah berbanding dengan Unifi, para pengguna Streamyx rasakan tiada keadilan dalam caj yang dikenakan.
Unfair price for 8mbps service at rm 160.00 vs 30mbps just under rm140.00
Current fees vs services provided are not worth it.
On top of that the speed is not consistent at 8MBps and always intermitten
