Creek Side - 5120 Telegraph, 5140 Claremont, 5115 Clarke, Oakland Creek Side is a proposed mixed-use development on Telegraph Avenue in the Temescal Neighborhood of Oakland. The Project features 3 residential buildings, two of six-stories and one of four-stories, containing a total of 115 residential units, and approximately 100 off-street parking spaces in a two level garage located at and below grade. The proposed Project involves demolishing the existing 2-story commercial building at 5132 Telegraph that currently houses the Global Entertainment Video store. In its place, the Creek Site will provide new retail spaces and housing on this important North Oakland transit corridor. Additionally the proposal includes a 10-foot wide strip of land along the site's eastern property line to be incorporated into the FROG Park public greenway with a plaza and pedestrian arcade connecting to Telegraph Aveune. Hauser Architects is the Project Sponsor. More information can be found on their website at www.hauserarchitects.com.

Temescal needs more housing badly. That video store has been sitting there empty or barely used for years. Build it already.

Love the idea of expanding the park. The neighborhood feels so cramped right now and having more walkability near Telegraph would be a huge win.
