The city council confirmed this morning that the Sonterra wall will be demolished. We have secured the official site plan revision and removal begins shortly. Keep an eye on the entrance area to ensure the work proceeds as agreed.
We are approaching the 500 signature threshold required to demand a formal review from the board. Please distribute this link to your neighbors so we can finalize the documentation for our upcoming meeting with city planning.

The petition reached a critical threshold of support this morning. I am now finalizing the formal request to the planning commission to get this wall on the next public hearing agenda.

This wall blocks the view of on-coming traffic, that is turning right from the service road onto Sonterra Blvd.
Vehicles that are coming out of the gas station cannot see the cars turning on Sonterra Blvd.
Very dangerous situation on both sides.

Please tear the wall down at the entrance to Sonterra! Or at the very least, shorten the height so people can see traffic coming out of businesses. Several wrecks have happened & will continue to happen until something is done about it!

I pray that this wall is taken down. I have only been here since June and I had a terrible accident that totaled my truck and my son was injured because some idiot was speeding from the Flying J truck stop and cut across to get to the McDonald’s

More than once I have witnessed cars coming out of McDonald's to get back on the service road and come one the wrong side of this stone structure in to oncoming traffic that is turning off the service road onto Sonterra Blvd. I have had near head on misses myself.

It is a danger coming out of the parking lot to make a left turn ( you can’t see oncoming cars) I’m surprised it was approved to be built. I would think if there is a accident the planning department would be at fault because they approved it.

In addition to creating huge blind spots, the wall confuses transient drivers who stop off for conveniences. I can't count the times I have come face-to-face with wrong-way drivers exiting McDonald's as I turn right onto Sonterra Blvd from the northbound frontage road.

This wall needs to be tore down. I've almost gotten into several accidents because it blocks the views of traffic.
