I totally agree. I believe that burnt out is inevitable after so many years in class....it should however be optional. Most especially in kindergarten and early years children need an enormous amount of energy and patience.....As Educators our physical and mental well being needs to be safeguarded.

Totally agree as it makes sense 100% to have this. Don't imagine teaching 3 yr olds at age 63 or more especially with the kids becoming worse as time goes by. This will also help to motivate others to have a career in education.

I agree 100% for LSA's also. Most of our paperwork and preparing of resources is done after hours and at our expense. So this would help to compensate.

We give a service to the community .Times are changing and teachers are not being respected as they should be . It is not worth the trouble since year aftet year parents arw becoming a nuisance and teachers get worn out and without enthusiasm

its a stressful job and after 25yrs you become tired.. this has an effect on both the teacher and the students well-being. A tired and mentally exhausted teacher cannot provide a quality education to students
