Teachers are the guardians and propagators at the of the culture. It is imperative that Malta retain as many indigenous teachers for the preservation of the language, the history, and the respect of the Maltese heritage, PAY THEM.

We are not treating well....we are not respected....no protection at all....children are allowed to kick us and spit on us....we have our rights too!!!!

TEACHING AND WORKING WITH CHILDREN IS SUPER STRESS, CONTINUES AT HOME, TIME CONSUMING AND COSTS LOTS OF MONEY. UNHEALTHY IN TIME!!!
I don't see myself caring for children at the age of 65 years unless the government will be willing to hire a carer to push me along on my wheelchair while I teach my student/s. Apart from that, maybe this way one would be inspired of this fact which could inspire dedicated student into a teaching career instead of choosing another instead!
