TCHS Graduation: Beat the Heat, Enjoy the Night

Please...We want to ENJOY Graduation...Not Dread It!

Last year was unbearably hot. Small children attend this event for support their older siblings, family and friends. Last year there were even people selling water. Who brings cash to a graduation? It was crazy.

Both of my daughters graduated from TCHS on very hot spring mornings. As a result, their grandmother who suffers from health problems could not attend because of the heat. Please change this for future graduates and their families.

The heat is ridiculous in the morning. There is no point in it.

Yes , please!! Have it in the evening and not in the hot sun. Some of us can't handle the sun and most of our parents, grandparents and small children can not take the heat. Please change the graduation to evening or in a cooler environment . For the class of 2016 and there after for all graduation . Everybody else has there in the evening time.

Yes, please! Lafayette...Madison...and many more counties have EVENING graduations. Mine was bright and early, right when the sun was beaming on all the STUDENTS IN GOWNS!!! And we are required to wear nice clothing, which is a little thicker than casual wear, thus increasing the heat index...with NO water. By the time I got home, I had a serious headache and just wanted to sleep. I missed most of my graduation celebration due to being slightly overheated. I also know that many faculty and family members go through similar problems. When I attended Lafayette's graduation, everyone was able to wear nice clothing, stay cool, and take nice pictures. Not sweaty ones...I look miserable in all my graduation photos. PLEASE change the graduation times to the evening. I know "safety" is a concern, but kids will be kids. Having it in the morning will not change what teenagers will do in the evening...

Please consider changing graduation to an evening event Many families have suggested this in the past to no avail. Thank you!

It just makes sense. Graduation is brutal enough without the broiling sun and oppressive humidity. I know for a fact some elderly family Members do not attend because of the heat.

Mornings at football field Is a safety hazard ..keep us all safe have it at night!!

Evening would be so much better

It's entirely to hot to have the graduation ceremony in the morning outside ... I can't hardly handled it and I am 52 so you can imagine what it does to older people ... Please consider it at night or inside .. Thank you

The mornings are way to hot for both the graduates, the faculty & family members attending. Please consider an evening graduation.
