Why would we allow this height when nothing even close to this has been allowed for 35 years. It’s the first building everyone will see and will be completely out of place. We are not arguing nothing should be built. All we ask is respect for our neighbors and property values. 35 feet allows for 3 stories and that should be fine with the developers. They do not care as they do not live here and will never even see it.

I am opposed to the apartment complex being built near Tara community.

Traffic is almost unbearable during the winter months. This is going to create a big mess at that intersection and lower the value of our property

This project is environmentally unsound, isn’t consistent with the master plan that is 98% complete and will negatively impact our community that has been here for over 30 years.

OPPOSE the construction of the proposed apartment building in our community because of density, flood water, traffic, compatibility, and height concerns. I, along with my neighbors intend to vigorously oppose this type of construction in our Tara Community and wish for the Manatee County Board of Commissioners to vote against this project to preserve the integrity of the Tara DRI plan and my best interest as a homeowner. Apartments at this location are inconsistent with the Manatee County Comprehensive Plan as written.
