Tara Community Opposition of New Apartment Buildings

No apartments on vacant Tara property

This apartment complex is going to create a traffic problem by the entrance of one of the busiest roads in Manatee County. This is in addition to having a 4 story structure that is not in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood.

We already have a traffic congestion problem and adding additional vehicles for 300 new residents would only add to it. Safety should be your first concern.

Do not approve the variant change to approve the land use change.

The corner at Tara Blvd and SR70 is already a dangerous intersection with many traffic accidents. We don't need more traffic there.

This area is already too busy, coming new people and cars would worse it. I am against new apartments.

We can't handle anymore traffic, 300 hundred more cars added to our currant traffic is unnecessary.

Proposed project makes no sense. Building cannot be over three stories high and the increased traffic would be a nightmare. The intersection is already terrible. If you approve this project, it will be gridlock and very dangerous.

Stop Apartments at Tara. First, it does not fit with current building standards. Most importantly, Traffic at Rt 70 and Tara Blvd is already too much and we haven't even realized the affect on traffic on Rt 70 to I75 from of all the building on 301 and 44th. FIX the current infrastructure problems first!!! NO one can be blind to the traffic issue.
