Tara Community Opposition of New Apartment Buildings

No apartments

We are opposed to this project.

This would create a congested mess

NOT a good idea at all.

I oppose this building project

Due to safety concerns regarding density and traffic, I oppose this project.

I opposed the planned construction of an apartment building by Wilber (applicant ZNS Engineering) on Tara Commercial Two Lots 5 &6 and the Goodwill parcel. I OPPOSE the construction of the proposed apartment building in our community because of density, flood water, traffic, compatibility, and height concerns. I, along with my neighbors intend to vigorously oppose this type of construction in our Tara Community and wish for the Manatee County Board of Commissioners to vote against this project to preserve the integrity of the Tara DRI plan and my best interest as a homeowner. Apartments at this location are inconsistent with the Manatee County Comprehensive Plan as written.

This proposal is not right for this neighborhood and adds dangerous congestion to an already busy area. Please reconsider reducing the size at least. Thank you.

This apartment building will be totally out of place. It will ruin the picturesque beauty of Tara which is a wonderful community and safe place to live. We do not transient people in and out. Additionally, we do not need a parking lot that will look like a car sales lot. We currently have enough traffic with both hotels! NO APARTMENT COMPLEX !!!!

We are already at risk of flood and some of our units have been flooded due to lack of adequate run off.

It makes no sense to change the zoning! The traffic @ 70 & Tara Blvd. is very congested NOW

I am opposed to the building of the apartment complex.

I am against the construction of the apartment complex at/on Tara Blvd because of the increased traffic that would result.

We oppose the New Apartment Bldgs proposal because it violates all of the Manatee property restrictions for that land parcel. DB

This will only add to the current traffic problems; I vote no!

Please do not allow this but believe it is already a fine deal.

Traffic is already a nightmare in this area given the shopping center, Publix, the 75 interchange, and the various communities in the area. I cannot for the life of me I understand how adding high density housing to this area is in the best interest of all concerned!
