Tara Community Opposition of New Apartment Buildings

The more living options the more traffic. Stone River Road is already being used as a race track cut through. Vehicles traveling through a family neighborhood at speeds higher than 30 mph. The additional housing will add more traffic traveling on Stone River Road, which may result in a fatal accident in this area. I am asking that you rethink the approval of this apartment building construction project.

I strongly oppose building an apartment complex at Tara Blvd. and Stone River Rd. for all the reasons stated in the petition.

The over building has got to stop. Manatee county planning needs to do a better job! This county has become an eyesore for storage units, car washes and apartment buildings.

Please come see where this huge building will go. It will simply look horrible.

4 floors at 67 feet is so out of place. Please come by here. Nothing is over 3 stories and 35 feet. 43 feet at hearing was not true. That is only one small part of the roof facing east. Please do not let them destroy our quaint neighborhood and property values.

oppose the construction and stop traffic congestion

WE are a neat little golf community trying to preserve a quiet small time cultur and would hate to break that with what would be a sure ground swell of unwanted, unneeded and accident prone happenings.

This project is a terrible idea!

That intersection at 70 and Tara Blvd is awful now. This would make it even worse and also lower our property vslues

The proposed building does not conform with approved plat perimeters of the devleopment; it will further negatively impact the traffic volume at the SR70 and Tara Boulevard intersection which has already been evaluated as FAI LED by FDOT. It would be a fool's errand to approve it.

I do not want the integrity of our community be infringed by an apartment complex.

We have way too much traffic in Tara as it is now and we certainly do not need to add this large apartment building with many people and cars to Tara Blvd. I am very much against adding this apartment building there where it could cause many traffic problems.
