Tara Community Opposition of New Apartment Buildings

There is too much traffic in this area already!!

The building is too high, parking & drainage issues are not addressed & the style does not match that of other buildings in the Tara community.

Height proposal is inconsistent with current restrictions and incompatible with the neighborhood.

I feel the apartments are a bad idea of the chair community. They will lower property values and increase the crime rate. A phone better alternative would be condos. The sense of ownership builds community whereas renters feel nothing for the community.

I am opposed to this project. It would cause too much traffic congestion at the entrance to our community. The size of the building would be an eye sore and most likely add crime to our area.

The traffic at the two closest intersections makes it dangerous to add so many units with cars. I ask the Commissioners to consider all the traffic added in this neighbor hood over the last five years (new I 75 exit plan, growth of Lakewood Ranch, addiction of three hotels and two senior facilities, Creekwood growth) and turn down this plan.

I totally appose the project. It will bring too much congestion to a beautiful neighborhood.

This community is not set up for apartments

it’s a failed intersection rte 70 & Tara blvd where people have died and you want to put 300 more cars there every day are you nuts or just don’t care

Please refrain from building on this plot. Along with increase traffic, it will increase crime with transient people in our community.

I strongly oppose the construction of the proposed apartment building in Tara because of density, flood water, traffic, compatibility and height concerns. It is inconsistent with the Manatee County Comprehensive Plan and will only harm and not help our community.

Wrong project at wrong time: traffic, safety, security, environmental.

I am opposed to the over-development in Tara. There is already too much traffic congestion in our community without adding more 4 story high density housing. It ruined the last neighborhood we built in, in Sarasota, and it would happen again.
