- After all the people in domestic violence situations, in the State of New Jersey there needs to be a law that Protects us as individuals. Tammy's Law would be that any law enforcer involved in ONE domestic violence situation she NOT be able to bear arms at all!

Seeing one thousand signatures on this page feels surreal because I remember when I was the only one talking about this. Knowing so many of you see the danger in allowing abusers to carry a badge and a weapon gives me hope that change is finally possible.

Watching this list grow reminds me why we cannot let this issue stay in the shadows any longer. I need you to help me push past this next milestone so we can force the legislators to look at these names when I walk into their offices.

I to am a survivor and agree with this law 100% and the fact that they are unaware of the 911 call and the other officers didnt use force...smh ANY VIOLENT OUTBREAKS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EXT....should automatically take their rights to bear arms
This is something that so needs to change. Tammy would still be here today if her Ex-husband had his service revolver taken away. So sad that it took a tragedy like this to bring awareness to a cause that should have been law a long time ago.
It is tragic that it took the life of an obviously decent human being for this to be considered. This law would simply make sense. Police officers are not above the law, and their "brothers in blue" mentality should not shield them from the consequences of their actions.
It is about time. Serve & protect, but once you break your role as a protector of domestic violence (men or women authorities) and actually become the abuser of domestic violence - it is time to revoke your authority & arms. It is simple as that. One strike policy should apply.
Abuse is abuse no matter who the aggressor is or what they do for employment. May Tammy Rest in paradise because the system fail her,the siedel children and the man who took her life because they should have put him in consoling n out on leave way before this ever took place...
May you continue to Rest In Allah's Paradise In Peace Tammy and may Allah continue to bring blessings in your childrens lives. Ameen!!!!⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘ This law is a very important one, because you never know who you really give the authority to carry arms and their mental health.

This situation is heartbreaking and should NEVER have happened. This mother of 9 never had a chance since her ex-husband was a policeman with his buddies backing him. Everyone in attendance shares a part in her murder.
