I have been reading the memories people are sharing about Jay and it is a beautiful reminder of why this gym needs to bear his name. Seeing how many people remember that day and his character makes me more determined to ensure the school recognizes his legacy properly.

Seeing one hundred people put their name behind this hit me hard because Jay deserves to be remembered in the heart of our school. This is a powerful start for someone who gave everything for others.

Jay was a legend at Tahanto. Everyone knew him and we need to keep his memory alive for the kids coming into the school now.
My son loved his classes. He really cared about the students and it would be a shame to forget that.

Still miss him. Seeing his name on the gym would mean so much to the whole town honestly.
