Students and Paceville goers are dirtying and damaging property all over the area, and they are all on holiday, but us locals cannot sleep, we cannot have a break at any point in the year. Swieqi is a free parking lot, and a haven for theft and damaging cars
Definitely needed, I have been living in swieqi for only a year and have been robbed, another attempted robbery and someone also crashed into my car and drive off during the night.
St Julians Police cannot even cope with Paceville, let alone with Swieqi. Its not the first time that I called at midnight due to foreign students being noisy, and I'm told by the PC answering the phone that he has nobody available at the moment !!!!
I live in Triq is-Sidra .Our cars have been vandalised six times in the past two years.Every time I had to pay for the damages myself which is very unfair .Also our nights are spoilt by rowdy students singing and causing mayhem in our street .We need help to control these rowdy students before one of us decides to take the law into our own hands
I have relatives living in Swieqi who I'm sure could do with a bit of police support. Swieqi, Madliena and Ibragg have grown so much that its ridiculous not to have one! St Julians Police Station has enough on its hands with St julians and Paceville..!
This Police Station has been a must for many years now and us residents have suffered enough from hooligans,students,drunkards and the rest who park their cars at the weekends.There is always the fear that something worse can happen,but those who put their trust in God shall not be let down.So I would like to thank whoever is in charge of providing us with police and security in the near future...because we deserve this Police station.
People are going to take the law into their own hands soon enough.

We bought in this area because it was a reputable community but if these criminals are ruining it then yes we need to protect our properties and their residents. A police station would certainly be a deterrent
