This is a critical site for hang gliders since there’s no other accessible location in the Sweetwater range that is safe for taking off. Let’s work together with the Forest Service for a mutually beneficial outcome, which has been done in the past for other launch sites in the US.

As a sport that is so nature dependant, our use is relatively low impact, so close many roads, just please bot this one.

The people who use this hang gliding launch enjoy it immensely and we have very few alternatives. Keeping this site accessible to the hang gliding community would be an excellent use of our public lands.
