Swamp Rabbit Village Opposition

Tiny homes crammed into a once beautiful wooded lot is out of character with what TR is trying to become - a well thought out community where people love to work and play. Surely this rezoning will NOT pass!

This is a no-brainer. "Tiny homes" weren't created for "neighborhoods". They are made for those who want to explore the nation. Easy pick up & GO. These ridiculous plans for investors, or whoever, to make a quick buck make me ill.

Time to stand up people! I've been neck deep trying to stop a high-density subdivision from going in off Tigerville Rd. The federally endangered Bunched Arrowhead may be our saving grace. Point is: we have to hold planning commissions and developers accountable for approving and building environmentally responsible neighborhoods with an emphasis on road safety.

This type of development is not good for TR in general..we've seen some nice recovery in our home prices and don't want a "trailer park" on the other end of our neighborhood. Do not rezone this property to facilitate this monstrosity. If this goes through-the average lot size of this development will be 0.07 acres. The average suburban lot size is 0.35 acres. This is just a sham to cram a bunch of people in a small space. Don't do it.

This type of development in this area just doesn't make sense.

This development is inappropriate and not reflective of the the community, nor respectful of the environment. It would be a mistake to allow this development to proceed.

Please listen to the citizens and taxpayers on this one. Everyone has been very tolerant of all the growth in Travelers Rest but this is too much and I will certainly move.

The current roads there cannot accommodate the additional traffic. Roads and bridge are already too narrow to accommodate current traffic.

This is overcrowding and overpopulating our small town. We don't want this development. Its too much, unsafe, excessive traffic that we are not logistically prepared for. TERRIBLE for TR!

I say it's a bad idea!

Not the right area for tiny homes. Maybe going out of TR on Hwy. 25.

Watson Road and 280 are narrow, busy and dangerous already. This area is NOT ideal for additional traffic and increased development. And let's not forget the preservation of the natural habitat along the Swamp Rabbit Trail the Reedy River. Disruption to this area will have a ripple effect on the precious wildlife, foliage and surrounding areas. (Especially considering these are rentals, renters will have far less respect for the land and lots, as there's no ownership stake in maintaining the property or surrounding land!) Furthermore, this brings a transient population to a well-established, family-friendly area that prides itself on safe neighborhoods, roads and parks. This proposal is short-sighted, ill-planned and destructive. Please find a more fitting area for this massive development proposal!

I do not want this near my neighborhood

Too crowded and NOT consistant with other TR neighborhoods

I am totally against these homes being build. Watson Road is already busy enough!!! 50+ homes will make it they much worse.

I do not think this should be in the city.

Development is excessive in outskirts of Greenville destroying its natural habitat for wildlife. Stop the growth and those on the move can move elsewhere.

Tiny houses are a passing fad, please preserve this area as it is.
