Suzie Q’s Tiki Bar on hurricane-ravaged Fort Myers Beach has been denied a 2COP Beer & Wine License by the State of Florida Dept. of Business & Professional Regulation. As Jacki Liszak, FMB Chamber of Commerce President, said, “We need our businesses back!”

SIGN THIS PETITION and get the State’s attention, then share this on all social media platforms to help us grow this campaign.

After that, please reach out to our state officials, starting with First Lady Casey DeSantis and urge them to get behind this woman-owned business. Below is a complete list of contacts.

The amount of support we have gathered lately is honestly overwhelming given how much of an uphill battle this has been. I am exhausted by the hurdles, but seeing so many people join this fight proves that Suzie Q deserves a fair chance to reopen.

Have known and worked with Susie for 15-20 years. Is a hardworking, honest person who has supported Fort Myers for years with her family and business. She deserves help with this endeavor and does not deserve this run around.

Her application was on hold pending the town of FMBs very onerous permit /inspection process which was interrupted by hurricane Ian. She was in process- don’t punish her for circumstances beyond her control. Please help a citizen rebuild and survive.

Hasn’t everyone lost enough with Ian? Why make it more difficult for people to get back to some semblance of normal? Or starting over? Is there no compassion or willingness to help others!??

Where is the Casey DeSantis fund? This is how we find her help. We find that money and that’s what it’s there for!!!

I think it is appalling that after losing everything due to natural disaster that this woman is being tortured by the state!!! Their family has lived their and owned businesses for almost 50years. Give her what she needs to be able to survive, make a living and keep a roof over her head!!!!

We need Suzi's bar open. It's a shame that you people are dragging your feet about her liquor license. Her temporary bar will generate business on FMB and also allow her an income she so desperately needs
