UPDATE 5.28.20:
Happy to share the following news: The ISRI PTO, ISRI Board, and principal met on 5.28.20 to discuss this increase. It was unanimously agreed upon to reverse this decision for the coming school year. The PTO was also assured that in the future, any major increases/changes in tuition and fees will be gradual, reasonable, and will be discussed with the PTO prior to approval.
With your help, we thank you all for your support in reaching this positive outcome! We would also like to thank the ISRI Board and principal for reversing this increase.

As parents and members of the ISRI community, we consider the recent $1,400 or 27% increase of tuition/fees for KG-8th grade '20-'21 school year, unjust, thoughtless, and ill- timed. In a year where students have spent 1/3 of the school year at home with virtual instruction, and are highly likely to continue to do so in the next school year, the school should be encouraging and promoting enrollment via some financial incentives, and not by a 27% hike in tuition & fees. This in turn will cause a serious drop in student enrollment-- jeopardizing the school mission in educating our future leaders. Please join us and include your signature to oppose this unruly increase during this public health and financial crisis for the 2020-2021 school year.

Thank you for your support.
This increase will not get any support from anyone because it is not reasonable nor does it make any sense. The school is paying less for bills during this Pandemic. There should be a decrease in tuition not increase. 40,000 Americans lost there jobs. Raising tuition is irresponsible and shortsighted. It will backfire. As a previous parent and teacher of ISRI, I ask the board to abandon this nonsense.
