Vilas Bardekar (Joint Director, Social Forestry, Maharashtra, India.) was kidnapped by suspected Bodo militants from the Eagle's Nest Wildlife Sanctuary in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday (12th May) night.
Mr. Vilas Bardekar was in Arunachal Pradesh for a month long vacation. He was doing what he loved most - being close to wildlife when he was kidnapped.
