Save Our Malaysian Hostages

The infamous militant Abu Sayyaf struck again on 1st April 2016. This time the victims are Wong Hung Sing, 34; Wong Teck Kang, 31; Wong Teck Chii, 29, and Johnny Lau Jung Hien, 21. They were grabbed from their tugboat off Pulau Ligitan on April 1st when returning to Tawau after delivering cargo to Manila. These are our fellow country men who are innocent victims of Islamic militants.

We urge the Government of Malaysia to expedite their efforts to secure the safe release of our fellow Malaysians.

We pray that every Malaysian will support our plea for help and sign this petition. You will never know when you will need the same support from your fellow Malaysians, especially if you live in Sabah or plan to visit Sabah. We must do everything we can do avoid losing anymore lives.

We hope to get 10,000 signatures for our petition to be handed to our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, with the hope that his personal intervention will help to secure the freedom of the hostages.

Abu Sayyaf is toying with our people while the government drags its feet. We are nearly at one thousand signatures but we need to shatter that mark right now to force the Prime Minister to pay attention.

April 19, 2016

The massive surge in support proves the public is done waiting while our people remain in the hands of Abu Sayyaf. We clearly have the momentum now to force the Prime Minister to stop stalling and finally prioritize these lives over policy.

April 18, 2016

We just hit 100 signatures but our men are still being held by these criminals. The government is moving too slowly while four lives hang in the balance.

After so many years, so many kidnaps and so hostages from so many countries, why is there no effort to gather resources from these countries to eliminate the militants once and for all?

Yes we don't want to set precedents and I'm sure the government is working behind the scenes but these terrorists don't kid around they will murder when time runs out. Dear government please give 101% effort!

Please do all you can to bring home our fellow Malaysians, who are not just faces, but someone's son, someone's father, someone's husband, someone's friend and definitely a fellow Malaysian of ALL of us.

Our gov has to start being very tough on these terrorists. Tough being use of force, artillery etc. how easy it is for them to kidnap and run and hide. Something had to be done to stop them. And will the gov negotiate the release of these four men ? Don't let it be another Bernard Then.

To the Malaysian Government and its agents, please bear in mind that the lives of these 4 young Malaysians are at stake. They deserve the full and sincere efforts of their country's government and its agencies. Token action and lip service will not do.
