We support Sesame Street's decision to keep Bert and Ernie as they've been since their creation, and not submit to request to allow them to get married. We agree that the relationship between these characters establishes a wholesome exemplary friendship that's a positive model for all children. The generations of children who have benefited from the present arrangement is proof no change is needed.
