Some parents are saying that cartoon network shouldn't show lgbt rights. Or homosexuality or another sexuality's other than heterosexuality to their kids. I think it is completely ridicules. Showing equality is perfectly fine, just because you don't like it doesn't mean thousands or millions of people don't like it. Personally i love the idea of showing lgbt on cartoon network, it makes it bolder and stand out; its a step closer to equality and not such a hateful world. Also not just little kids watch the shows, teens watch the shows and maybe even adults. They are good shows and these little things make them better. On Clarence they showed a gay couple and everyone in the show was okay with that. In Steven Universe there are two feminine gem characters who have a relationship, this shouldn't bother Anyone. I love both of these shows, the story line of Steven Universe is great and i believe nothing should be censored, canceled or changed. (drawing not mine)
