REASON FOR PETITION:
It has come to our attention that our concierge's service will be replaced on Monday the 17th an noon. Orange Concierge's has been with us since the doors opened at Metropolis.
As with any new service provider, we experience growing pains, however we’ve worked hard with Orange Concierge's over the years and together have developed policies, procedures and protocols that our service provider has agreed to and have carried out professionally to ensure a unified team between the residents and the concierge's. Orange Concierge has been an integral part of the Metropolis community for more that 7 years. Throughout it all, they have been dedicated to Metropolis, open to feedback, adapted to changes and have met our needs. The stability of our vendors is the stability of our community.
We are outraged this change is taking place without our knowledge or input.
We now have learned that a lawsuit has been filed against our association for breach of contract. We have NEVER had a vendor file suit against us. How has our board allowed this to go this far and why.
Over the past year and under our management company, we have lost good talent and experience, we've changed multiple service vendors and now we’re getting sued. Many of us have lost confidence in our leadership. We need to very quickly. understand why this is all happening.
We've requested the board to delay any action by the management of replacing our current concierge service until questions are answered. We respectfully requested a reply and the board president responded by denying to exercise this option.
Concerned residents will be attending the next board meeting on Thursday, January 20th at 6:30 p.m. and have requested to be on the meeting agenda for the board to address concerns over service vendor and personnel changes. Can we count on you to support our community?

REQUEST FOR SPECIAL MEETING FOR ANSWERS - PLEASE READ AND SIGN THE PETITION IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A SPECIAL MEETING WITH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
In accordance to the Bylaws of Metropolis North Residential Condominium Associations, Inc, Article II Meetings of Members; Section 2. Special Meetings:
Special meetings of the members may be called for any purpose at any time by the President or Secretary, by request of any two (2) members of the Board of Directors, or upon written petition of Owners holding at least fifteen percent (15%) of the total eligible Association vote.
The undersigned members representing 15% or more of the membership of the association hereby petition that the board of directors set the earliest reasonable date, time and place for a special membership meeting for the purpose to vote on reinstatement of Orange Concierges as Metropolis North Residential Condominium Associations Inc “Concierge Services”, and that Notice of Meeting and Ballot sent by Board of Directors to membership as provided in Bylaws of Metropolis North Residential Condominium Associations, Inc; Article II; Section 3 and Section 8.a
