Mr. McCubbin has been a substitute teacher for a while. He has been involved with Dowling so many ways and has given back to the community. A few days ago he has accepted a roll to teach at Dowling Catholic High School, but quickly got his offer revoked after the board found out that Mr. McCubbin is openly gay.
