A very well known Oncologist, Dr. Chirantan Ghosh, has helped many people. His caring nature is well known. He established a foundation to help patients pay for medication. He has set up a program with local high schools to help pay for advanced placement tests for high schools. He always has time to listen to his patients. He looks after his patients medically, physically, and spiritually. He takes the time to ensure that his patients understand the procedures, the medicines, and the side effects. He always has the best interests of his patients at heart. Personally, I have seen him in the hospital well before 7 am and well after 8 pm. His is a wonderful doctor and a great humanitarian. It is my understanding that Dr. Ghosh has considered leaving the practice he established here. If we loose Dr. Ghosh, we loose the best asset for oncology and patient advocacy this area has.
