This petition is written to express our strong support for our colleague, Payam Shadi, MD. Over the course of his 21 years at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Shadi has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and compassion in the practice of medicine.
Dr. Shadi is known among colleagues and patients alike for his unwavering dedication to patient care. He combines clinical excellence with a deep sense of empathy, ensuring that every patient receives not only effective treatment but also compassion and respect. His commitment to upholding the highest standards of medical ethics and patient safety has been exemplary in our institution.
Equally important, Dr. Shadi has been a collaborative and supportive team member. He has fostered an environment where nurses, physicians, and staff feel valued and empowered to contribute their best. His ability to maintain strong, respectful relationships across disciplines has made him a trusted and highly regarded member of our medical community.
Those of us who have had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Shadi can attest to his integrity, his dedication to continuous improvement, and his steady presence in even the most challenging clinical situations. He is an exceptional physician whose contributions have left a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the patients he has served.

Dr. Shadi is an excellent physician. He has taken care of my patients and my father’s patients for over a decade and I found his care to be excellent. He was well informed on our mutual patients and he would address their issues expeditiously. I strongly support Dr. Shadi to remain on staff at cedars sinai.
Extremely caring and attentive physician. Shame on the practice of using sham Peer Review's against private practice physicians, while ignoring and covering up severe complications and patient deaths caused by their hospital employed physicians and department chairs.
I’m a medical doctor myself and I have known Dr. Shadi in professional capacity for over 13 years. He has a good character, excellent medical knowledge and he treats many of my family members. He has my full support
I was a patient of Dr. Shadi’s for a few years and he always took great care of me. He was always compassionate and understanding. I know he is well respected by other doctors at Cedars and always treated the nurses with respect. He was a big part of Cedars and should be back at Cedars again.
He is simply the best Internist and point person for all of my Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery patients. I don’t trust any other provider to take care of my patients. He is ethical, caring, and dedicated to his patients.
Dr. Shadi has been an amazing physician to my mom & a source of comfort & hope for our family. Every time my mother has been at Cedars, he has been there for her. Dr. Shadi is more than an amazing physician, he is compassionate, dedicated, & genuinely cares about his patients. Our family has trusted Dr. Shadi with my mom’s life, time & time again, & we’ll always be grateful for the care he’s given her. Losing a doctor of Dr. Shadi’s caliber would be a tremendous loss for his patients & Cedars.
This is sad and it clearly shows that he’s a racist and we all know the 90% of Doctors are racist
