They actually listened and the zoning is staying as a restaurant which feels completely surreal after all the chaos of the last few months. I am honestly just so relieved that we can finally look forward to seeing that space filled with people again instead of wondering what was going …
To: The Irvine City Council
The undersigned respectfully request that The Irvine Company consider keeping the property located at 4615 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, California 92604 (formerly known as Waters Lakehouse Restaurant as of New Years Day, 2010) zoned and developed as a restaurant and bar only. A restaurant would suit business banquet needs, family gatherings following Concerts on the Lake, weddings, etc., and would continue to be an asset to welcome visitors enjoying our lake and community. Thank you.
I looked at the counter and we actually hit one hundred which is just wild because I honestly thought this would just be me yelling into the void about how much I miss having a place to sit by the water. It is honestly so cool to see that other people still remember those nights at the lake and want that space to be a restaurant again instead of just another empty building.

I was just looking at the count and we are almost at triple digits which is just wild to think about honestly. If you know anyone else who misses the restaurant space or just wants to see something actually useful go into that spot please send them the link right now before I get distracted by something else.

So many weddings and parties happened here. It makes no sense to rezone it now. Leave it alone.

PLEASE keep it a restaurant. My family has so many memories there after the concerts. It would be a huge loss for the neighborhood.

This is ridiculous. Why get rid of a perfectly good spot for dining? We have enough office space in Irvine already.
