For 17 years, Light and Love Home has been serving many people from all walks of life. Our services are well received by the community with recent monthly encounters well in excess of 16,000 including children and seniors.
The City of Vancouver is planning to rezone the area east of Quebec Street between 2nd and 6th Ave. This imposes a direct impact to Light and Love Home because the City could sell to developers the land where we are for substantial profits. With the City working closely with private developers to develop the area, it means that Light and Love Home will soon lose its centre. The city rezoning plans could put an end to our services. Over 400 locals will be impacted by losing this daily service.

This organization has been an active outreach and integral part of the local community. It is valued, important and needed service and outreach. Please consider the importance of adapting your developments to meet the need for this service to stay. thank you.
LLH provides tax clinic service, garage sale, summer classes, etc to the community. And we also bring fun and spiritual support to all ages, families and new immigrants. We made our society in a coherent and harmony way. LLH is irreplaceable in the community. Let LLH stays.
I have been coming to "the church of God in Vancouver" and "Light & Love home" over one year. They do a lot good job for new immigrants. I really enjoy being part of this community. I really hope they can continuous their services in this community to help new immigrants.
I have been in Light and Love home for 17 years and my children are I grew up here. It's a part my family. We love theirs service and activities. Please keep Light and Love home location and continuely services the community.
I started volunteering with Light and Love Home while I was in second year in University at UBC . They helped and inspired me to care for the community more and provided many opportunities to give back. Please let LLH stay and continue their good work.
It's a cult. I hope they get evicted soon.

A public hearing is necessary if city of Vancouver want to sell this property bcos it is providing services to the community. It is affecting the whole community. City of Vancouver has responsible to put community need into consideration.
