First, I just want to say that this is less of a petition and more of a survey. We are just curious to see what you guys really think. : )
As some of you might know, we are trying to build a kitchen on the farm, right behind the stand. Because I, Susan Atkinson, was not clear in our intent of use, the Town of Cedarburg is being cautious about giving us approval to finish building this kitchen and letting us sell products made in it. I can assure you, our goal is to serve you, our loyal customers, by offering preserved agricultural goods that would otherwise be waste. Some of these products will be canned/pickled and frozen vegetables, salads, soups, and already cut/trimmed vegetables. We do not intend to become a physically bigger business with more traffic, just a smarter business that can offer you more options. This will also help us as small business owners to continue to thrive with our growing families to support. It will give us the opportunity to sustain profitable farming seasons when weather or reduced areas of useable farm land would otherwise be detrimental. Thank you for your time.
Please show your support with comments including if you live in the Town of Cedarburg. Contact me, Susan Atkinson, at 262-377-1423 with any questions.

We just hit one hundred signatures and it is clear the Town of Cedarburg board is completely out of touch with what this community actually wants. They are trying to bury us in red tape while we try to survive but this turnout proves they cannot ignore us forever.

The Town of Cedarburg board thinks they can just stall our project while our livelihoods remain in limbo. This surge of support proves they are out of touch with the people who actually live here and want this kitchen to succeed.

The Town of Cedarburg bureaucrats are dragging their feet while our fresh produce goes to waste. We are almost at 100 signatures so blast this link to everyone you know immediately. Stop letting them stall our progress and force them to listen to us right now.

I fully support this. It a responsible choice to make for a small business. I also live less than a block from Wittes and see no traffic or other negative issues.
I want to add my support to the plans for Witte’s to add a commercial kitchen to their farm store. The Witte’s farm and store is a tremendous asset for the Town of Cedarburg. It adds greatly to the quality of life in our community. The proposed kitchen is a fantastic idea which will benefit all residents of Cedarburg.
This is a wonderful plan to reduce food waste and provide healthy food options to our community. I would definitely purchase these products and support the Witties.
I think this would be an excellent addition, similar to Weinke’s in Door County. I’m already a regular, and would love to have these products available.
I love the idea of frozen and canned veggies! I would definitely buy my frozen veggies from Witties and instead of Costco if it was available
I fully support farm to table kitchen!
Excellent idea. We lived in the Town of Cedarburg 28 years and now our son and DIL, who bought our home, live there. We all love Witte's and frequently buy from the stand.

We live in Delafield and make a trip to Cedarburg at least once a month to stop at Witte and other downtow businesses. The farm is a great spot and I hope they can expand their operation and use more of their produce for other items!
