Support Washington University Bon Appétit Food Service Workers' Right to Form a Union
Bon Appétit food service workers at Washington University are currently organizing to form a union to gain the wages they deserve as well as respect and dignity on the job. Bon Appétit has rapidly started their anti worker campaign, using scare tactics and intimidation. We, the undersigned, support the Washington University Bon Appétit food service workers in their effort to form a Union and collectively bargain without retaliation. We stand behind Bon Appétit workers.

I have been hearing more stories from workers about the intimidation they face during their shifts and it is deeply upsetting to see these tactics used against people who put so much effort into feeding our community. We are currently coordinating with organizers to ensure these workers feel protected while they pursue the fair treatment they have earned.

Seeing this level of support for the people who feed us every day gives me so much hope. The workers facing intimidation now know they have an entire community behind them.

All workers should be treated fairly by their employers, and this is especially true when that employer is contracted by a university that claims to support equality and economic mobility.
As a staff member at Washington University, I stand with Bon Appetit workers and fully support their right to union representation.
Food service workers at Wash U keep this campus running! Allow them the respect and dignity of collectively advocating for themselves through a union.
The inequities on this campus are mind-boggling. These workers are serving the children of the wealthiest people in the country--they deserve a living wage!
Union allowed me to afford braces for my children and their glasses. Has given me the opportunity to afford my house and car. I'm looking forward to a retirement I wouldn't have without the union
All workers should have the right to form a union!

Proud member of I UEC local three for 38 years deciding to join the union is the best decision you can make. My union dues are the best return on investment one could Ask for
