I've only visited Victoria once and can't wait to go back. The buskers were the main attraction for me the entire time we were in your beautiful city. I believe the buskers need a say as a stakeholder in the Victoria harbourfront.

One of the things I love about visiting Victoria is listening to the buskers. I'm especially fond of Steve Harris. They are an important part of the city, and I hope that they will be recognized as such.

I used to run a couple of stores on Government St and often cruise ship passengers said they only disembark ed here because they wanted to see the harbourfront entertainers.

... as a local; visiting the harbour to enjoy the uniqueness of the performing buskers, the musicians, is a summertime pastime I enjoy each year. As I see others stop, watch and gather, I witness that it is an attribute certainly worthy of protecting.

Please keep the buskers and allow them to play in a wide are of Victoria. They are part of our history and need to be part of long-term future

I feel that the smaller local artists are a valuable group and shpuldn't be drowned out or excluded from events that take place downtown.

Supporting accessible live music in downtown Victoria is so important. We need to keep Victoria a cultural centre that supports the arts, and the downtown buskers are an integral part of that. If we can support an international buskers' festival for roughly 10 days every summer, we need to be consistent and do the same for our local musicians all year round.

Busking / Street Performing is the oldest stage which all other performances historically come after. I performed on Victoria's Harboourfront in the summer of 1991. Like other towns across the world regulation on buskers can be helpful. Listening to the opinions of these voices whose eyes constantly follow the pedestrian traffic in a tourist area would be a good thing

The causeway buskers need to have a say in how events in the inner harbour are planned! For many of them it is their main source of income and they provide a truly unique experience and lasting memories for tourists from all over the world! They deserve the respect of the Harbour Authority and the City.
