I have been reading through the comments all morning and honestly the stories people are sharing about their families are just heavy and stay with you for a long time. People keep asking me if administration has replied yet and the answer is still no but I am drafting another email to them because we honestly cannot let them just ignore this. It is weird how you start something on your laptop and then suddenly you are carrying all these people's hopes and bad news in your inbox.

I really thought this might just float around the edges of campus without anyone actually looking at it but the response has been completely overwhelming and I keep refreshing the page just to keep track of the names. It feels like the administration might finally have to open their eyes to why we need that email sent since now they can see how many people are paying attention.

it is so draining trying to stay on top of classes when everything at home is falling apart. hope the school actually does something for once.
My grades have definitely suffered this quarter. hard to care about midterms when your family is in danger honestly.
the lack of acknowledgment from uci has been pretty disappointing. its not hard to send an email.
JUSTICE FOR ARTSAKH!
In my opinion, every Armenian was affected by this conflict through emotional distress and this caused many Armenian students at UCI, such as me, to perform poorly due to lack of focus.
